Clean a Mattress is a static informational website operated by an independent publisher. We do not create accounts, and the local cleaning tools run in your browser. This policy explains what data Google and similar third parties may collect because the site uses Google Analytics and may serve Google ads.

What we collect directly
We do not ask you to submit names, addresses, payment details, or a description of a mattress accident as a condition of reading a guide. If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to send, including your email address and the page URL, and we use that only to answer the request or correct a page.
Google Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics (measurement ID G-Q6BWR1ED7E). Google may collect cookies or similar identifiers, IP address, browser and device type, approximate location, referring site, and pages viewed. We use this to understand which guides are used and whether the site is working. We do not use Analytics to identify you by name, and we do not send mattress-problem text from the in-browser tools to Google as personal information.
Google advertising and third-party cookies
The site is enrolled with Google AdSense (publisher ID pub-7189405305305848). Google and other authorized advertising partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons, and process IP addresses or device identifiers to serve ads, measure ad performance, limit ad frequency, and prevent invalid traffic. Third parties, including Google, may use this information to show ads on this site and on other sites. The domain authorizes Google as a seller in ads.txt.

Consent, European visitors, and ad choices
Non-essential analytics and advertising cookies default to off until you choose Accept in the cookie notice. What we do not do
- We do not pass your name, email address, or the contents of a contact message into Google ad requests.
- We do not collect precise GPS location.
- We do not use Google products to identify a person from a mattress stain, odor, or health concern described on a page.
- This site is not directed at children under 13 and is not intended as a child-directed service under COPPA.
Local tools
Tools such as the stain identifier and cleaner-mixing checker run in your browser. Their answers are generated on the page from the options you select. They are not an account, and they are not stored on our server.
